Each ship has a garage area that is designed to keep out water and the area is designated as a “cars only” space. Our service is the only transporter to offer Roll-Off and Roll-On service past Puerto Rico and in the Caribbean islands. Our tracking system is completely accessible online giving you the opportunity to watch your vehicle throughout the entire trip to ensure it is secure. This gives you the chance to check on the status of your shipment whenever it is convenient for you without having to wait on an operator.

FOR ALL CUSTOMERS, NORTHBOUND AND SOUTHBOUND:
- Booking # (Reservation # with Customer Service Department).
- Copy of Title (or authorization from the Financial Institution, if financed).
- Pre-payment (Certified Check, Money Order, Visa or Master Card).
- Driver License (owner), if owner is not present a notarized letter of authorization must also be provided.
- Non running vehicles will pay an additional $150.00.
No additional items may be left inside the vehicle or there will be a minimum additional cost of $350 depending on the cargo. Sea Star Line will not be held responsible for any missing items. Notify Sea Star Line at time of booking for rate publication.
Northbound From San Juan also require the following:
- Vehicle registration.
- Certificate from Dept. of Motor Vehicles indicating vehicle is free of fines (valid for 2 days).
- $10.00 voucher from Internal Revenue Department (Colecturia). We do not accept stamps.
- Receipt from pressure washing vehicle (motor, undercarriage, exterior).
- If owner is not present, a Notarized letter of Authorization from a PR Lawyer or Power of Attorney is needed. Notary Public Underwriter from the US will not be accepted.
- Motor Vehicle Exportation Certificate from Division of Stolen Vehicles.
- There may be an additional charge of $50.00 if USDA inspects and requires re-washing of the vehicle.

Pickup Vehicles in the Jacksonville, FL and Port Everglades, FL
Upon arrival in the USA vehicles are subject to USDA inspection. Upon release, Sea Star Line will contact customer to pickup
vehicles. (Customer should ensure that they are contacted prior to making arrangements to pick up the vehicle).
Pickup Vehicles in San Juan , PR
Please contact Customer Service to verify release of your vehicle (approximate release time frame is one day after arrival).
Before Sea Star Line can release any vehicle in San Juan, PR the Tax Office (Arbitrios) requires payment of all import duties.
Arbitrios will require payment in the form of cash, money order, certified check, or ATH Card.
The free time to pick up vehicles is seven calendar days.
Receipt of vehicles in Jacksonville is only: MONDAY thru FRIDAY — 8:00am–4:30pm
Receipt of vehicles in Port Everglades is only: MONDAY thru FRIDAY — 8:00am–12:00pm & 1:00pm–4:30pm
Receipt of vehicles in San Juan is only: MONDAY thru FRIDAY — 7:00am–11:00am & 1:00pm–3:00pm
** Any units received in San Juan on a sail day will NOT be shipped until the next available vessel for that destination port.
New Rule in Tariff-500 & Tariff-467
Effective July 10, 2005
All shipments that require the use of an In Bond Driver, regardless if customer prepares their own customs validation and/or have completed the Form 7512, will be subject to a $30.00 fee.

In Jacksonville and Port Everglades there are five calendar days of free time to pick up vehicle. In San Juan there are seven calendar days of free time to pick up vehicle.
The following Accessorial Charges from all Ports are included in the amounts listed above but will be shown separately on the Bill of Lading:

- Bunker Fuel Charge — $230
- SED Filing — $25
ADDITIONALS: ** Insurance: $25 for each $1,000 declared. Vehicle must be no more than seven years old.
