Sea Star Line Announces changes to its Eastern Caribbean Service

August 20, 2009

Jacksonville, FL (August 20, 2009) - In recent months, the global economic condition has had a major impact on the local economies of the Caribbean. This combined with tremendous operating difficulties faced in the Caribbean, has forced Sea Star Line Caribbean, LLC to suspend services to the islands of St. Kitts and St. Maarten.

Effective September 20, 2009, Sea Star will no longer accept St. Kitts and St. Maarten cargo moving from its locations in the United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Accordingly, we will suspend all St. Kitts and St. Maarten rates effective September 20, 2009. Cargo destined for St. Kitts and St. Maarten will only be accepted at Sea Star's facilities until September 18, 2009.

Our sincere regrets for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions, please contact your Sea Star Line Sales Representative.
